Orlando has a wide variety of restaurants designed to suit all tastes. Staying in one of our short term rentals in Orlando will put you close to opportunities to try various epicurean delights. There are many American, Asian, and Latin-inspired restaurants to suit a variety of tastes, as well as restaurants with Peruvian and Turkish cuisine too. There are even a number of four and five star restaurants in town.

If you are on City Walk at Universal Orlando, you will find places like Margaritaville, Hard Rock Café, Pastamore Ristorante & Market, NASCAR Café, and Mythos Restaurant, just to name a few. In Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World, you'll find Flying Fish Café, Fulton's Crab House, Kouzzinas, La Cantina de San Angel, Les Chefs de France, Liberty Tree Tavern, Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano, Sunshine Seasons in the Land, “Ohana, and Teppan Edo.

If you want something with an Asian flare, restaurants like Funky Monkey Wine Company, Pei Wei Asian Diner, Chi Pan Asian, and Ming Court provide a variety of sushi and more. Nightife:

  • Thornton Park District, Downtown Orlando: This is a short walk from Central Blvd. and Orange Ave. It's located near the intersection of Washington and Summerlin. There are a multitude of cafes and pubs. Dexter's Thornton Park is a popular place to stop in for a drink here, or across the street at Burton's Frosted Mug, you'll find another favorite. Another trendier bar you might check out, HUE Restaurant, is at the corner of Washington and Central. Other nearby places include Stardust Lounge, One80 Grey Goose Lounge, NV Art Bar, and Bosendorfer Lounge.
  • The Grand Bohemian Hotel- Located downtown on Orange Avenue, is a comfortable environment with drinks and live jazz music.
  • The Samba Room- Located on Sand Lake Road is a lively place offering great food and beverages in an atmosphere with a Latin aura.
  • The Wine Room- Located on Park Avenue, is a place that offers a plethora of wines for self-serve sampling in a casual atmosphere.
  • For those of you staying in one of our Orlando short term rentals near or on International Drive, you are close to several bars and clubs. Some popular ones are: Corona Cigar Company's Superstore and Cigar Bar, Howl at the Moon, Orena Sports Bar, Velvet Bar at Hard Rock Hotel, Blue Martini, and the infamous Dave and Buster's Inc.

Shopping:
Orlando is a paradise for shoppers. With some of the largest department stores, like Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bloomingdales, and some of the largest shopping centers in the Southeastern United States, Orlando has places for all shoppers regardless of their budget. For those looking for unique shops, all they have to do is take a stroll in downtown Orlando or Winter Park to find everything from ready-to-wear and home décor stores to rare antiques and hand crafted gift items.

Some of our short term rentals Orlando are situated near one of Florida's biggest malls, The Florida Mall. It's located at the intersection of Orange Blossom Trail and Sand Lake Road, about a mile north of the Florida Turnpike/Orange Blossom Trail/Beachline Expressway Interchange. You will find over 200 stores in this mall. The Mall at Millenia is Orlando's largest upscale mall. You will find places like Tiffany's and Gucci here. Department stores like Macy's, Bloomingdales, and Neiman Marcus are also housed here. This mall is found in the newer Millenia area of Orlando at Conroy Road exit off of Interstate 4, three miles south of Downtown Orlando. There is also the Altamonte Mall in Altamonte Springs, which is considered the second largest mall in the area.

Orlando also has a few outlet malls. Orlando Premium Outlets on Vineland Ave. has stores for designers such as Armani, Fendi, Burberry, Coach, and many more. Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores is another such mall with over 300 designer and brand names to choose from. Gap, Reebok, Carters, and Eddie Bauer name just a few stores that you will find here. This mall can be found off of SR-535 near International Drive and Disney.
